The ancient nunnery of Ursuline

The Ursulines Convent was occupied by nuns until the French Revolution. In charge of the education of young girls from wealthy families, the nuns had their own remedy for the malaria-like "malady of the ponds" - the Petit Pain Châtillonnais" with saffron.
